How much does the test cost?

With support from the City and County of Honolulu, the Waimānalo Health Center is offering drive-thru testing for free.

Do I need to have symptoms in order to get tested?

No. For this event, the Waimānalo Health Center will be testing anyone who wants a test.

What do I need to bring to the drive-thru testing event?

You will need to bring a mask for everyone in the vehicle. Anyone wanting a test must also provide a photo ID.

Will the line for testing be long like other drive-thru events?

We anticipate the line for testing will be long. Pre-registering at www.WaimanaloHealth.org/COVID-19 will help to expedite testing. Will you see everyone that is in line by 3pm?

Is pre-registration required?

No, but pre-registering will help to get you through the line quicker. We strongly encourage people to pre-register at www.WaimanaloHealth.org/COVID-19.

If you are a current Waimānalo Health Center patient who has had an appointment within the last three years, you do not need to pre-register.

Is COVID-19 Testing offered at other times?

Anything I should know before I come?

Waimānalo Health Center kindly asks that those participating in testing ensure their masks are worn correctly when they need to roll down their windows to engage with one of our team. Those participating in testing must also remain in their vehicles at all times.

What happens once I’m tested? Do I need to quarantine?

For the safety of all, patients are asked to self-isolate pending the results of the test. For test results, please call (808) 829-2609, from 9am – 4pm, Monday 8/31 – Wednesday 9/2. If test results are positive, we will contact you immediately and our medical team will advise you on next steps.
